How Do I Defrost Sausages Quickly

A Thief Catcher (1914)

Just over a week ago, in Arlington, Virginia, one of the many festivals around the world dedicated to the art of silent film, SLAPSTICON 2010, Keystone was presented a short film found a few months ago, was buried and therefore invisible to the public for decades.
Author of this discovery and preservationists known researcher Paul E. Gierucky that in one of his many purchases of antique moviegoer found this important film in which the famous Charlie Chaplin has a funny and surprising cameos. Literally
The catch thieves , A Thief Catcher sequent has the story: Ford Sterling, dressed in civilian clothes but with a star on his chest, shooting a pair of thieves beat up a poor man and throw him from a hill. The culprits, realizing the uncomfortable witness out of the way they want. Ford, frightened, flees to a cabin which, however, unfortunately, turns out to be the refuge of scoundrels. The intervention of two bumbling Keystone Cops shall not have anything good, but is quick and his faithful dog to take him out of trouble.
Chaplin's part of one of the Keystone Cops, which was hit hard on the head when trying to peep into the cabin, as in the frame of the film that I have provided.

Shot 5 to 26 January 1914, A Thief Catcher could be the third film by Chaplin in order of shooting, taking into account the fact that Kid Auto Races At Venice , was filmed in one day, or 10 January.
With this new discovery, filmography Chaplin has added a new title and then the number of his films at Keystone, waiting perhaps more twists, stood at 36.
